Admission Process

For admissions in the polytechnic colleges in West Bengal, the students who have completed 10th from any recognised board of education in the state or central level will be considered eligible to sit in the JEXPO entrance examinations. The candidates who have completed education in ITI Vocational Courses will have to sit for the VOLCET examination for admissions in the polytechnic colleges.

The candidate will have to visit the official website of the West Bengal State Council Of Technical & Vocational Education And Skill Development and register himself for the entrance examinations of JEXPO/VOLCET. After the exam, the candidates will have to register online for counselling, this counselling registration process and choice filling can also be done offline. After the student gets allotted to colleges in respective rounds, he/she will have to visit the college in person for completing the admission process.
